1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using FotoBingo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The Game (Description of Service)

FotoBingo is a social game that allows users to create lobbies, make predictions, and upload photos as proof to claim Bingo tiles. The app generates randomized cards and facilitates a "Veto" system for peer verification.

3. User Conduct and "House Rules"

To maintain a safe and fun environment, you agree to the following House Rules:

  • No Staged Content: Photos must be genuine captures of real moments, not staged for the purpose of the game.
  • No Forced Events: You must not manipulate situations, harass others, or cause distress to force a predicted event to happen.
  • Respect Privacy: Do not take photos of non-consenting individuals in private spaces.
  • Prohibited Content: You may not upload content that is illegal, pornographic, violent, hateful, or infringing on intellectual property.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or banning.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of the photos and videos you upload.
  • License to Us: By uploading content, you grant FotoBingo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce your content within the specific Game Lobby and for the purpose of operating the app (e.g., generating the final collage).
  • Export: Users are permitted to export their final Bingo cards/collages to social media. You acknowledge that once content is exported off the FotoBingo platform, we no longer control that data.

5. The Veto System

FotoBingo uses a peer-review "Veto" system. We are not responsible for disputes between players regarding the validity of a photo. The determination of whether a "Tile" has been achieved is decided by the consensus of the lobby participants via the in-app Veto function.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

FotoBingo is for entertainment purposes only.

  • Physical Safety: You are solely responsible for your safety while playing. Do not perform dangerous acts or break the law to capture a photo. We are not liable for any injury, damage, or legal consequences resulting from your actions while playing the game.
  • Service Availability: We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that the server (Firebase) will be up 100% of the time.

7. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to use FotoBingo. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental consent.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app.
